CTE Evaluation & Assessment

Thanks to a generous grant from the The DaVita Giving Foundation, we are excited to share a new set of tools on the ESWN Resource Hub designed to help students, families, educators, and industry partners evaluate Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
These resources were developed by combining extensive research with direct feedback from stakeholders across Colorado. They are practical, easy-to-use, and adaptable—whether you want to conduct a full program assessment or create your own template tailored to local needs.
What you’ll find on the Resource Hub:
  • CTE Access Surveys

Collect perspectives from students, families, educators, and industry partners.

  • Survey Summary Report

Translate survey findings into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Equity & Inclusion Audit Template

Reflect on how accessible and inclusive your programs are.

  • CTE Readiness Checklist Template

Assess program strengths, gaps, and alignment with workforce needs.

How to use these tools:

  • Use them directly to assess current CTE awareness, equity, and readiness in your school or district.
  • Reference them to design your own evaluation templates that fit your community’s context.
  • Apply findings to bridge information gaps, strengthen pathways, and align programs with student and workforce priorities.

These resources are posted as part of our commitment to make CTE information clear, connected, and equitable for all.
