Who Gets Left Behind by Federal Vouchers?

While framed as "school choice," Federal Vouchers under the Education Choice for Children Act (ECCA) could fundamentally alter how education is funded in Colorado. The concern is clear: If Colorado opts in, we risk losing the resources that protect students with disabilities, rural families, and BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth. We must ensure our tax dollars support inclusive education, not private institutions that can pick and choose who they serve. We believe in transparency and protecting the schools that welcome everyone.
