Stop the cuts to special education
The federal government is threatening funds, services and rights for students with disabilities by gutting the Office of Special Education and proposing to move $15B in IDEA funds to another department that has no experience or expertise with disability or grants.
On this call we will hear from:
- National special education experts about what’s going on
- Democracy Forward, which has brought the lawsuit to stop the layoffs
- Parents, educators and support staff about how these cuts will affect our students
- Advocates about how we can pressure Congress to stop the cuts
