    Black Parent Network

    Black Parent Network (BPN) started as a small number of parents exchanging ideas on how to navigate the educational system of Aurora and Denver Public Schools. As we met new parents, we recognized that the challenges faced by Black students were similar throughout the Front Range and Colorado.     Great Education Colorado began in a Denver living room filled with parents sharing concerns about the chronic under-funding of public education that was affecting students’ educational experiences, civic and community unity, and economic prosperity. We have since grown to be a well-respected source of information and conduit of public input to the voters, legislature and state leaders on issues concerning honest, equitable and fully funded public education.     Show & Tell

    Show & Tell is Colorado’s ONLY Community Parent Resource Center. Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs) focus on reaching underserved parents of children with disabilities, including those in particular areas, with low incomes, or with limited English proficiency.
