Join Us for the Colorado Community Schools Conference on November 6!
This year’s conference, Rooted in Strength: Growing Community Schools Together, will take place on Friday, November 6, at the Lowry Conference Center in Denver. It will be a great opportunity to hear what’s happening across Colorado, learn from others, share ideas, and explore how we can better support students and families by connecting schools with the resources and partnerships around them.

- Registration: $75 per person
- Optional School Site Visits: Thursday, November 5. Visit community schools in Aurora for $30 for one site visit or $50 for two.
We’re thrilled to welcome Heather Kennedy, Director of the Hub for Youth Engagement, as our keynote speaker.
Heather Kennedy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Public Health and Director of the Hub for Youth Engagement, which advances youth voice and power in community change through participatory inquiry and organizing. She serves on the Steering Committee of the YPAR Network and is the lead designer of a video series that builds adults’ capacity to engage young people in Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR). Heather began her public health journey at age 16 as a participant in a youth tobacco control movement and has since built her career around creating opportunities for young people to recognize and exercise their power to shape their communities.
