ADEQUACY STUDIES
Last year the Colorado State Senate made a historic, bipartisan commitment to the students, teachers, and communities of Colorado. By passing S.J.Res.25-021, the Senate declared its intention to honor and implement the recommendations of the state-commissioned Adequacy Studies – that is, to fully and fairly fund public schools.
Now, Representatives Eliza Hamrick and Lori Goldstein are giving the Colorado House of Representatives the chance to make that same commitment. They have introduced a similar resolution stating that – even in this time of budget crisis – we are a state that is committed to the success of every student. We need you to tell your representative TODAY that you want them to support the resolution and commit to building a blueprint toward full funding and student success!
Our students can’t afford for legislators to put these studies on the shelf. Take action now to ask your legislator to commit to the North Star of full and fair public school funding!
